Best SuperX Alternatives in 2026 (Tested by a Founder)

Tan · founder, VoicePostUpdated July 20263 min read

I went looking for the best SuperX alternatives in 2026 after using SuperX myself, and after building in the same category. So read this with the obvious disclosure attached: VoicePost is my product. I'll make the honest case for each tool, including SuperX, and tell you exactly who should stay put.

SuperX is genuinely good at what it centers: analytics in your feed via the Chrome extension, scheduling, and an inspiration library of viral posts. Rob Hallam built it after reverse-engineering his own viral X posts, and grew it from 900 to 40K followers while taking it to $23k MRR in six months. The product walks its own talk. My full teardown is in the SuperX review.

The reason to look elsewhere is the gap the whole library-tool category shares: the templates are yesterday's winners. What worked last quarter reads as generic this quarter, and no library can tell you what happened in your niche two hours ago.

1. VoicePost: for posting about today, not last quarter

VoicePost attacks the staleness problem directly. It watches Hacker News, GitHub, Product Hunt, Google News, Reddit, and IndieHackers for your niche and drafts posts (screenshot attached) the moment something worth reacting to happens, in your voice. The memory bank is the part SuperX has no equivalent for: it knows your journey, your MRR, what failed and what worked, and cites those specifics in drafts, so build-in-public posts sound like you because they are you. The engage queue surfaces posts from your niche plus a watchlist of creators you want to comment under, with the comment's tone matched to the moment (quirky, serious, contrarian). And it runs the Reddit side with 9:1 guardrails. It does not have an in-feed Chrome extension; analytics live on a dashboard page. From $29/mo.

2. Typefully: for writers

If SuperX felt like too much product and what you actually do is write, Typefully's free plan plus its $8/mo tier is the cleanest downgrade path in the category. Great drafting surface, thread previews, a calm queue. No inspiration engine, no analytics depth, no engagement features. That's the trade.

3. Black Magic: for the analytics half of SuperX

A lot of SuperX users are really paying for the extension: numbers on every profile as you browse. Black Magic is that specialist at $16/mo, with tweet-level analytics and a private CRM of the people who engage with you. If analytics is your reason to stay on SuperX, this is the like-for-like swap that costs less.

4. Tweet Hunter: for the biggest library

If the library model is exactly what you want, Tweet Hunter's is the deepest, with CRM and lead-gen tooling on top, from $49/mo ($99/mo with AI writing). Same structural caveat as SuperX, which I cover in best Tweet Hunter alternatives: a bigger archive of past winners is still an archive.

5. Hypefury: for automation

Evergreen reposts, auto-plugs, cross-posting from about $25/mo. Use it to stretch content that already performs. Recycled content is what X started cutting payouts for in April 2026, so this is a sharpener, not an engine.

Who should actually stay on SuperX?

Two profiles. First: you live in the timeline and want numbers on every profile you look at; the extension is genuinely the best execution of that idea. Second: you want one generic tool that schedules, suggests, and reports, and you're fine editing template-flavored drafts into shape. SuperX serves both well at $39/mo. The switch call is simpler than any table: if your problem is what to post today and where to show up, the library model isn't built for that question. That's the problem VoicePost exists for, and the head-to-head is in VoicePost vs SuperX. For the whole category ranked, see best X growth tools in 2026.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best SuperX alternative?
VoicePost, if your bottleneck is posting relevant content daily and marketing on Reddit at the same time. If you mainly used SuperX for its analytics extension, Black Magic is the closest like-for-like swap at $16/mo.
Is there a free SuperX alternative?
Typefully has a genuinely usable free plan for writing and queueing posts, and F5Bot is free if what you want is keyword monitoring. SuperX itself has no free tier as of July 2026.
Why do people switch away from SuperX?
The most common reason I hear (and hit myself): inspiration-library tools recycle formats that already peaked. You get technically fine posts that read like last year's viral hits, and no way to post about what happened in your niche today without writing it manually.
Does any SuperX alternative also cover Reddit?
Only VoicePost. Every other tool in this category is X-only, which matters for founders because Reddit is where the highest-intent "best tool for X" conversations happen.
